Role: Programme Support Tutor for the Foundation year & Unit leader for the Numeracy and Data Analysis unit.
About me: I am a diligent individual passionate about
teaching. I have experienced tutoring students of various age groups
and academic levels but my focus has been on under graduate students. Being a
part of higher education for 12 years have helped me develop an in-depth
understanding of how an instructor should teach at a certain pace and
with focus on learning, concept building and applied skills rather than
bombardment of conceptual structures. I understand how to do justice to the
course as well as the students. I feel that having studied the theory of
learning and problems in teaching and learning, I have developed strength in
keeping the process of teaching a two way transfer of information and inductive
to learning.
There is no such thing as a stupid question!
