Since November 2018, I am a Senior Lecturer in Statistics at Manchester Metropolitan University. Previously, I was a Research Associate in Statistics at Imperial College London from October 2015 to October 2018. Prior to that, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Statistics at KU Leuven from October 2013 to September 2015.
My research focuses on statistical modelling and statistical inference, as well as in data science and big data. My particular research interests are high dimensional statistics, mixed-effects models, multilevel models, nonparametric and semiparametric models, joint modelling, model diagnostics and missing data problems.
A major focus of my research has been on the development of statistical models and diagnostic tools for the analysis of complex data such as longitudinal, multilevel and clustered data, from clinical trials and observational studies.
I will teach M.Sc. modules "Computational Statistics and Visualisation" and "Business Intelligence" for the M.Sc. in Data Science and Data Analytics. I also teach the undergraduate module "Foundation Data Analysis".
