IT checklist for new students

  1. Microsoft Office is free for all students at Manchester Met: Get yourself set up before arriving on campus. Use or download MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and SharePoint on up to five devices. 

  2. Register your password:Strong passwords are important for keeping your information safe and secure. To avoid delays accessing University systems, register your password as soon as possible. 

  3. Download the MyMMU App: MyMMU is the home of all the online tools you need to study at Manchester Met. Access everything from Moodle to your email, timetable, the student hub and wellbeing support.  

  4. Set up your email: We make it easy for you to access your emails wherever you are. Use Microsoft Outlook on your web browser or download the Outlook App on your mobile.
