How to use LeoStream

The first time you use Leostream, you need to download the ‘Remote Boost Receiver’ client application. Once you’ve done that, every time you use Leostream, you’ll download a small file that will let you connect to a remote computer. 

The videos and guides below will talk you through these steps, and help with any errors or difficulties you might experience.

Step 1: install the client application

The first time you use Leostream, you need to download the ‘Remote Boost Receiver’ client application.

You only need to do this once.

​​​​​Step 2: Connect to a computer

Once the application is installed, don’t open it! Instead, use the guide below or watch the video to connect to a computer on campus.

You need to do this each time you use LeoStream.

  • How to use Leostream, including how to start a session, save your work, and log out.
    • These are the steps you must follow each time you use Leostream. You will be downloading a small connection file that allows you to connect to the remote computer, and each session will use a new file.
    • When connecting to Leostream, please remember that the pages and downloads can take a few seconds to load, and it’s really important that you wait, to avoid faulty connections.
