The pre-sessional courses are intensive, full-time courses.
Each week your studies online will include:
- Up to 21 hours per week of tutor-led lessons
- Sub interactive tasks with ‘independent study and homework tasks’
- Regular individual meetings with your tutor

The 5, 10 and 20-week courses may include:
- Academic reading: identify key arguments, supporting evidence and bias.
- Academic writing: learn how to write an essay, including referencing and paraphrasing.
- Academic speaking: presentation and seminar skills.
- Academic listening: note-taking skills, identifying key information and supporting detail.
- Critical thinking: distinguish fact from opinion, consider the writer's purpose for writing and identify weaknesses in arguments.
- Conversation club: practise your spoken English through a variety of generic topics.
- Pronunciation club: work on specific features of speech and how to make sounds more accurately.
