Student projects and consultancy

You can work with our students on a project, supervised by an expert member of staff from Manchester Met. 

This means the students gain valuable work experience, and you get fresh perspectives on your business challenges at no cost.

You can set the scale of the project based on your requirements. At the end of the project, you receive a written report, a presentation, or both, depending on the brief.

We can support any area of your organisation and you can tailor your brief to your individual needs. Project topics include:

• business development planning
• data analytics, including work with market data, insights and consumer feedback
• digital strategy
• human resources
• market and consumer research
• public relations planning
• social media strategy and planning
• competitor analysis, including examining their strategies
• partner and collaborator identification
• operational processes analysis
• design of commercial interiors, concepts, services and products
• creation of building artwork or digital animations

Organisations of all sizes recruit our students for consultancy projects.

Costs

We do not charge you to work with our students on projects, as it contributes to their professional development. There may be project costs, for example if materials are needed. If a budget is needed, the students will explain what’s needed, agree it with you and work within it.
