HPP Book Launch Celebration

Event to reflect "range of interests and expertise" in the department of History, Politics and Philosophy

To celebrate the books published over the last 12 months, colleagues in the Department of History, Politics and Philosophy are hosting a book launch on 19 October from 5:30pm in No. 70, Oxford Road (the old Cornerhouse).

The launch will take place in the newly refurbished annex in room G.09., and the event reflects the broad range of interests and expertise in the department. Doctors Ben Edwards, Sam Edwards, Kathryn Hurlock, Jason T. Roche, Faye Sayer, Jonathan Spangler and Lloyd Strickland will introduce their various works on subjects as diverse as the commemoration of World War II, medieval Christian holy war and pilgrimage, practicing public history, the Guise family in early modern Europe and early modern philosophy.

All are invited to celebrate the range of expertise within the Department of History, Politics and Philosophy. Wine and nibbles will be provided.
