About eduroam

Eduroam is the Wi-Fi network you'll use to get online, on campus. Completely free.

eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, international wireless service that is available to all staff and students at Manchester Metropolitan University.

As well as being available at institutions around the world, eduroam can also be used at Manchester Metropolitan University wherever the ‘eduroam’ wireless network is available.

eduroam is particularly convenient for smart phone and tablet users. Using eduroam, you don't need to type in your username and password every time you access the network. You only need to set up your device once, and then you can log in automatically wherever the eduroam network is available.

That means students can access Moodle, MyMMU, your email and the Library's collection of online journals and databases from a range of colleges and universities, not just in the UK, but around the world.
