I have been teaching and doing research for the past 16 years. I got the Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees at the Federal University of Technology Akure Nigeria. In 2007, I secured the Monbukagakusho (Government of Japan) Scholarship to pursue a Doctoral degree in Mechanical System Engineering at the University of Hiroshima, Japan. Shortly after my doctoral degree, I did some collaborative researches with MAZDA motor company, Japan. From 2013 to 2014, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Clean Combustion Research Center, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. In 2014, I joined the City, University of London as a Research Fellow doiing a collaborative research with Shell Global Innovations. I left City, University of London in 2016 to take up lecturer position at the School of Engineerng, Division of Mechanical Engineering Manchester Metropolitan University. UK.
My research works are published in reputable journals and have been well cited according to google scholar.I have presented my research findings in many international conferences on subjects related to Fuels, optical diagnostics, computational fluid dynamics and Advance Combustion Engines. I am a recipient of the Society of Automotive Engineers Best Paper award at the 2010 Small Engine Technology Conference, Linz Austria.
I am a member of the Institute of mechanical engineers and a UK Chartered Engineer. In addition, I am a member of the Combustion Institute and Society of Automotive Engineers.
I view teaching not as a profession but a passion. I teach in order to impact knowledge to my students. I want to ensure my students become the best in their chosen field. I want to ensure my students create impacts in any environment they found themselves.

I believe a close interaction between student and teacher is very essential in order to make teaching a successful career. Hence by making teaching techniques a dialogue, my students will be able to participate actively in my class. Therefore in achieving this, I ensure to implement a dynamic and proactive approach thus employing what I can refer to as “Student and Teacher” relationships. By applying this technique, I am more receptive and adaptable to students changing needs and also students have a great ability to take an active role in their learning by contributing to discussions and by participating on projects related to the lectures. I believe this is a unique of creating learning processes in students. A good learning process will be initiated when I create a freer academic environment for my students in the course of knowledge dissemination. This I believe will make my students tparticipate actively thus expressing their feeling especially when a particular subject is not clear..

Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest branch of Engineering that applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. It requires an understanding of core areas including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. It also involve the use of these core principles along with tools like computer-aided design, and product lifecycle management to design and analyze different systems such as manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices, weapons.
