Stephen is responsible for facilities management and commercial services across the University, leading a diverse range of customer focussed teams in catering and hospitality, conferencing and events, student accommodation, print, mail and building services.

In partnership with colleagues, Stephen works to ensure that sustainability is at the core of facilities management and commercial services – developing teams to enable sustainable working practices and commercial offerings. This ranges from the use of microfibre cloths and waste recycling in all buildings, supply of sustainable food and drink, including the University’s sustainable food policy, and enabling and supporting sustainable living in the University’s student accommodation.
