Pete is responsible for a range of Estates and Engineering management systems and controls, including a £1.8m engineering budget for statutory compliance and servicing and the development of an engineering strategy to ensure the safe, sustainable and future-focused management of our University buildings.  Pete is responsible for the effective management of a £5m utilities budget and the reduction of carbon towards a 2038 zero carbon target, and for providing key technical recommendations that will support the University’s transition to low and zero carbon engineering systems.
