Peter is the Centre Director for Advanced Material and Surface Engineering a team of academic staff in undertaking a range of research activities that covers the production and characterisation of novel materials and the modification of surfaces for a wide range of applications. The Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre (MFCIC) and PrintCity also has a strong advanced materials theme,  which overlap significantly with this centre - creating strong collaborative partnerships and synergy.
