MMU Languages have been awarded Erasmus + funding with the CoMoViWo Project

CoMoViWo Project (Communication in Mobile and Virtual Work) - www.comoviwo.eu

Manchester Metropolitan University are working on a project with European partners, looking at the communication literacy needed by employees and managers to be successful in the virtual and mobile work environment at the European level.

CoMoViWo seeks to define the skills needed in virtual and mobile work in a multicultural environment; to reflect the shared communication literacy required from managers and employees; to integrate a comprehensive view of communication, cultures, new technology and virtual and mobile work life; and to develop joint training modules for higher education students and business representatives. English and Spanish will be the languages used as lingua franca in the modules. The other participant organisations are TUAS, Universitat Politècnica de València, the International Language Association (ICC) and Gdansk University of Technology.
