The Multimedia Resource Laboratory is managed by a full-time Technical Officer and includes a collection of learning and teaching materials, two teaching laboratories, seminar and meeting rooms, plus more than twenty iMacs.
Our technical suites are of the highest standard and you’ll have access to training on technology and equipment that is industry-standard and used by the professionals.
The Geoffrey Manton Building also has excellent facilities for those with accessibility requirements, and is adjacent to all the other main University facilities. These include the library, student accommodation, the Students’ Union building and the sports centre.
Our students have access to a range of equipment that's available to hire from the Multimedia Resource Laboratory, this includes; camcorders, lighting, digital cameras, Nikon DSLR cameras, digital and mini DV camcorders, digital audio recorders, microphones and other specialist equipment.
Students can hire this equipment through the Hive Digital Media Booking System.
