Opportunities to get involved in social activities and events
A social and leisure programme is offered for pre-sessional students. Excursions to local attractions outside the city such as the Lake District, Blackpool and Cheshire Oaks cost approximately £20-40 per student.
As a pre-sessional student, you also have access to the University's social programme and facilities.
Join one of the many societies here at the University. From archery to Zumba, you could either continue with an existing hobby or take up something new.

The University has several fantastic sports facilities right on our doorstep, offering a great range of health and fitness activities with exclusive membership deals for students. Find out more via the Sport website.
We also strongly encourage you to get involved in the events and activities organised by the Manchester International Society. With membership free for ManMet students, the International Society offers trips, classes, events, activities and volunteering opportunities to help you make new friends from all over the world.
