Matt Sansam

Matt joined Innovate UK in 2010, where he is currently Innovation Lead for Digital and is responsible for Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Immersive Technology areas. Matt has over 20 years experience in the games industry and has held a number of senior operational and development posts, including Executive Producer, Head of Operations and COO. He specialises in project delivery and programme management and has worked with many organisations on everything from small budget hand-held releases to large scale complex projects.

As part of the Innovate UK Digital team Matt manages relationships with government departments, business and academic communities, as well as scoping, planning, developing and delivering various funding competitions and other interventions aimed at businesses of all sizes.
