Evaluation of the Essential Skills for Offenders Serving Sentences in the Community Pilot

Recently MCYS, in partnership with Carney Green, completed an evaluation of essential skills for offenders serving sentences in the community pilot on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government.

The evaluation aimed to understand how the pilot operated in practice, as well as exploring reasons for variation in participation rates across the delivery of essential skills within the pilot. Along with this, the evaluation set out to deliver evidence to inform long-term decisions concerning best delivery models.
