ManMetHacks is a student-run 24-hour hackathon organised by helloHackers, a hackathon society at Manchester Metropolitan University.
This will be the second edition of the hackathon held in Manchester Metropolitan University, and will take place 25th & 26th January 2020 @ 9am.
120 student hackers from all over the UK will meet to code, design and build innovative technological solutions.
What is a Hackathon?
A hackathon is an invention marathon. Students come together to build cool software & hardware hacks over 24 hours.
Who can attend?
To attend as a hacker, you need to be a university student or have left university in the past year. Apologies, but we are unable to accept under 18s. You can also attend as a mentor, e-mail us for more info.
I can't code?
Not a problem at all. This is a beginner friendly hackathon, with tons of activity planned for you to learn something new and implement it in your hacks.
What is the cost?
Nothing. Attending a hackathon is absolutely free.
What do I bring?
Your ticket, student ID, toiletries and laptop with its charger. That's about it!
