Have you ever had a paranormal experience?

At this special event, the public are invited to take part in a scientific study to investigate paranormal encounters at Ordsall Hall with students and researchers from Manchester Metropolitan University. Participants will have the opportunity to explore locations within Ordsall Hall and take part in a research project that helps to understand the nature of haunted experience in relation to specific locations.
On the night, Dr Ken Drinkwater and Fabrizio Cocchiarella from Manchester Metropolitan University will present current work exploring the territory of parapsychology and perceptual experiences of the anomalous as well as giving opportunity for discussion and first hand encounters with unusual phenomena.

This event is part of the 7th annual Gothic Manchester Festival which is themed on 'Gothic Times'. This year the festival will span the whole of October with a whole range of events exploring the Gothic throughout time for you to get involved in.
