I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with other students and tutors, everybody was very helpful. The course provided the opportunity to tailor and explore your own interests and career related areas. This was especially important, as I wanted to develop in my own field rather than study topics that were not relevant for me. The workshops and online seminars for students are an excellent way to address individual concerns and proved useful in terms of extra support. Excellent pastoral care is available if you are struggling with more personal aspects of life that are affecting your studies. Overall, a great learning environment.

I have further developed my time management skills. In addition to this, I am more confident in all areas of my personal and professional life.

We went on a hike to Lyme Park, which gave us the opportunity to get to know other students and tutors on a social level. My own projects of study alongside my studies were linked to my profession and proved useful in providing me with greater insight to these areas.

Don't leave things to the last minute. Talk to your personal tutor about any issues you have, as soon as possible. They will help you and if they're not the best person to do so, they can direct you to the department who can.

...studying at Manchester Metropolitan University, it's the best decision I've made in a long time. It has definitely opened more doors for me, career wise.

The tutors and support staff (Hub, careers etc), they really are the best  I have come across in twenty years of teaching and learning.
