Student Profiles

It has developed my understanding of teaching to such an extent that I can think about what is best for my specific students. I have become more and more confident to apply myself to the more senior opportunities available to me on completion of this course.  I like that my choices for post-graduation are facilitated here; lecturers are willing to help with either career or doctorate advice.  I mostly like that I can build a professional portfolio in place of a dissertation, which will help with my own personal pedagogical goals.

I feel that I can effectively critique authors and studies that challenge my understanding, and I can utilise teaching theories in my work.

I will be required to be observed teaching in term three.  There are placements available through the University or through my own initiative.
