"We are taught by individuals who are currently researchers within their fields. We gain a lot from their experience and it’s very motivating to think we can one day be where they are now."
I really appreciate how supportive the staff and students are of each other. I feel as though we, as students, are very lucky to be taught by individuals who are currently researchers within their fields. We gain a lot from their experience and it’s very motivating to think we can one day be where they are now. I think the course is very well organised and communication between Manchester Met staff and the student body is excellent. Lastly, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities is a really great place to be, you learn a lot from meeting so many people from so many different backgrounds. I feel as though attending Manchester Met has allowed me to grow both academically and as an individual as well.
Organisation, time-planning, critical thinking and reading, confidence, independence, public speaking, essay writing and academic research!
I volunteer as a course representative and it has really helped me gain insight into the way the course is developed and run. It’s also been a really great way to get to know my fellow students a lot better.
Make sure you’re willing to put in a lot of hard work and effort. Stay focused it will be incredibly worthwhile in the end.
…individuals who work hard to succeed, despite any difficulties they may have to face.
I love being around a diverse group of people who I can learn from. It’s nice to be surrounded by like-minded people who are creative, energetic, hard working and eager to learn. It’s an environment that pushes me to work harder everyday.
